Very interesting!
In the printed catalouge the house is not mentioned as an assembly but this will give it a more three dimensional looking.

Here is the one missing piece of the set now acquired, namely the dwarves house - here with Snow White wishing the dwarves well on a day at work and the Evil Witch arriving in disguise.

And here is design from Retter / Dangelmaier which is extraordinarily clever:

There are a number of architectural elements in the Retter catalog I need to take another look at based on this.  (They have a selection of battlements, church facades, balustrades etc.)

The usual excellent paintwork, Christoph!!
And I think you have got the possible colours also quite well!

Being a fan of medieval era, I also like the figures!

The Snow White set covers some very nice late medival figures which can be used for the burgundys for example. The engraving was done by Ludwig Frank so you don´t have to think about the quality, it´s first class.
Here are three of these figures. I have added two not 100% historical correct burgundy guardsmen to them, edited by Neckel.

Really well-made figures - however they do not render my favorite era.
On the other hand: I would do gladly accept the house of the seven dwarfs - it would perfectly fit to some of my TYW-time installations... ;)
Thank you for showing them, Mark!

One forgets the absolutely stunning engraving of Retter's figures until you examine their 30 mm figures.  They are all truly delightful to paint given their exquisite design and engraving.

This is a quite large set depicting the German version of Snow White and the seven dwarves.  A very nice ebay find which is complete except for the dwarves house - an oversight I am currently trying to correct via an order from Dangelmaier.

Finally, a breakdown of the story from the journal and Jerry Mortimore
