Title: Byzantium
Post by: JerryMort on June 16, 2015, 07:26:12 AM
Does anyone know who edited this set of Byzantine figures, including Justinian and Theodora?
Designed by Madlener and engraved by Lecke.

Hello Jerry,
it´s a ex. Vollrath-series now available at www.kieler-zinnfiguren.de  (Ochel).

Look at "Hofstaat Justians I., Byzanz um 500 n. Chr.".

The designer was Mano Winter and not Madlener.

There are some nice pictures of Bistulfi on the Ochel-side with this figures.

Mr.Vollrath was the director of the exhibitions on the Krupp Villa Hügel/Essen. He edited several flats.

Tappert Zinnfiguren has some additional flats for Byzanz.

Best regards

Michael
