Eric these are wonderful figures and for me quite timely as well. I am currently awash in Retter figures which are uniformly beautifully engraved and produced and am just finishing a book on Hoplite warfare. I am impressed with these figures representing an early shield - I think the term is proto-hoplite - where they were not yet fighting as a phalanx and carried two spears/javelins which would later not be the case. All in all pretty cool!
Not to mention beautifully painted as well.
