Title: Palatine troops around 1470
Post by: Christoph on December 19, 2019, 02:18:36 AM
Hello,
for some weeks now I´m working on some medival figures showing palatine troops around 1470.
Here is one with the colour showing the lion of the Palatinate by the Rhine.
The Figure is from Scholtz.

Very nice paintjob, Christoph!

I like olso this tin, part of an old set originally edited by Henniges  and now in the Scholtz-Berliner Zinnfiguren catalog.

I'm curious to see the rest of your palatine troops!

All the best,

claudio

Hello,
here is the next one.
Simon von Balshofen, the bailiff of Heidelberg.
The figure is a former figure from Müller / Erfurt and is now edited by Wolfgang Friedrich. The engraving was made by Ludwig Frank.

Wonderful, Christoph  :)

You're painting like on the assembly line with very high quality, and I acquire one mould after the other to expand my figure portfolio  :)
I hope I'm finding some more time for my own open painting projects :(

Like the topic again.

Thank you.

The banner is that of Palatinate. The dukes of Bavaria used the same but without the red hatchment in the middle which shows that the Count Palatine by the Rhine was also an elector. That means he was one of 7 sovereigns in the German Empire who elected the imperator.

Hello,

I finished this project some month ago but recently taken some photographs of the figures grouped together (and Sandor is asking for pictures of dioramas frequently ;D )
I´m not very good in building dioramas and at home in not much space left to store them so I just drawn some medival buildings by pencil to give a rough view of a background.
