yes the background was created with acrylic paint.

I could have taken from oil paints, but I was impatient and
wanted to bring the end of the Dio ... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Her some new inspirations for new projects.

Excellent stuff, Wolfgang! Painterly backdrops are the unexplored world of flats - very few of us have the skill to do it right. Well done!
... was this background painted in acrylics???

Agreed fantastic work.  Figures in this size are a challenge to display without them getting lost in the scenery or buildings.  This is a very balanced little scene, particularly love your backgrounds - something I never got the hang of doing well.

Thank you for your good opinion!

So now I have also incorporated the background and the base with the figures .. :P
The water was designed with water simulation of NOCH 2K Water Gel and water effects for No. 60872 slightly wavy pattern.

Everything must now drying. The water is so still turbid (milky) are not so clear ... :'(

For snow I'll rework it again. The ground is acrylic paste and works, so in the dry season are cracks.
A challenge! ???

A new background created

I'm asked about the background for diorama.
I have the background to my "chrismas 1862" Dio incurred.

We recognize it's not perfect it, the brushes were just wiped .... :-[

Slight improvements are still be needed.
The rest wind then arise in the box.
Thus the transition from the background is the basis for I leased with acrylic paste, since I am doing a river.

I will bring the original with Dio to Kulmbach. can then be examined at our booth. :o 8) :P
