Jörg.

Finely I got hold of the right number of "Die Zinnfigur" and even found out whom to contact about the figures issued by Zeumer.

Thanks for your help!

@Jan,
you can find it in the last issue "9/10 2013"
It is included in an article about camel troops in Deutsch Süd West (German South West Africa).

Dear Jan,

there is (at least) a very small trace:

In the current issue of ZINNFIGUREN is an article about German Camel Riders in nowadays Namibia.
This contains pictures of Zeumer Camel troops (German) and a source for (these) figures replicas

Sad situation, that nobody seems to have any information about were I might find a copy of a Zeumer´s figure catalouge.
Maybee it is ever worse ... that nobody never ever has heard about the Zeumer figure production.

I can´t say that I walk the easy way but I have always liked a challenge so ... now I am searching for figurers once produced by Richard Zeumer in Dresden.
As I understand it, he produced figurers covering the Imperial period before WWI including "Schutztruppen" for German South-West Africa, the period after the WWI for the "Reichsheer". And finally American indians. All figure moulds were destroyed in 1945 by allied bombs when Dresden was put to ashes.

Otto Thieme, Sixtus Maier sr., Ludwig Frank and Richard Redlin were among the engravers for Zeumer.

It would be very useful to have some sort of original list or catalouge over the production by Zeumer as a start. If some one please has any information to share I will be most grateful.

Then of course, I will also in the long run be interested in adding some original castings of Zeumer figures to my collection.
