Dear Bob,
I was very interested in your reply to jimrjim re: the above.  Your information has helped me identify the engraver of several figures in my collection: these are Scheibert figures in uniforms of the late 17th century and on their bases are the letters S and o (the o with an umlaut).  Thanks to you I now  know they were engraved by Dr Sollner.
Many thanks, Peter

Thank you Bob. I will need to find a copy of Sigel-Belftimmugsbuch. The 15 mm and 10 mm figures stump me.

According to the Sigel-Belftimmugsbuch, Mittman traded between 1931 to 1959 with some of the forms being transferred to Tobinnus.
It also shows the marks on the base as being FM for Fritz Mittmann, with as engravers Sixtus Maier (SM) Andreas Ferner (AF joined) and Dr G Sollner (SO with umlaut) no mention of a single M.
The shape and design of the M might be able to establish the owner as many figures bear the M but each manufacture/Designer/Engraver seem to have a different style or shape for their M,which might help.  The 20mm figures I believe were intended to be used as background figures in Dioramas, to try to give the illusion of depth.
They look like Franco Prussian war period.

Kindest regards
Bob

Thank you Oleg for the response.  I was pretty confident most of the 20 mm were Mittmanns.
Any further information, both on the two smaller sizes or guesstimated date of manufacturer of any of the three sizes, would be greatly appreciated. Or, as I have numerous Mittmann boxes that remain misidentified as something other than their contents as described by a seller, any identification of the uniforms would be great.

According to letter "M" on the figure stand it could be MITMAN a manufacturer of 20 mm figures. His figures are often appearing on German e-bay.

Friends,
I would love to have any and all help identifying a collection of 20, 15 & 10(!) mm. figures. Photos show the entire batch and a one cent (euro) coin for size comparison. I assume the 20 mm are Mittmanns as I have almost identical figures in an original box. I am curious about manufacturers, dates of manufacture and uniform identification. (Ignore the giant 30 mm prone figure)
