Post by: Christoph on August 12, 2019, 02:57:05 AM
Hello,

I like to point you on two sets which are new:

The first one is "Sacco di Roma" by Mineur. Showing landsknechts at the plundering of Rome in 1527.

The other one is a set of figthing thirty years war horsemen. Three croation horsemen against four swedish. Very lively figures. Well engraved and edited by Wolfgang Friedrich.

The plundering of Rome in 1527 is quit well known in Finland and especially Sweden as Frans G. Bengtsson wrote in 1923 the famous poem Balladen om franska kungens spelemän, inspired by this incident

I bought the "sacco of Rome" series and some beautiful medieval knights from the very kind Mr. Friedrich. they are all excellent engraves.
