21ème concours international de l'Association Figurines et Maquettes de Montrouge
Montrouge (Paris), April 9th-10th, 2016

The exhibition and competition are just completed this week-end:
As far as the flats are concerned, the flats at Montrouge are mixed within the figurines classes, so the results are not specific to the flats, but to the class.

I counted 79 flats exposed by 35 painters and divided as following within the figurines:

      Master (M)/Confirmés (C); Novices(N); Juniors (J); Transformation (Création) (T)
                     Fantastic (F), Historical (H), no separate category for Flats

Category   Artists   Pieces
J    =        1          1
NH    =         5          9
CF    =         3        10
CH   =      12(1*)     29
MF    =        6          9
MH    =        8(1*)     16
MT    =         3(1*)       5

Total   =     35 (*)     79

(*) three artists posted in two categories

You can read a report in French at  http://www.afm-montrouge.com/reportage.htm  (in a few days)
You can find the awards for all categories at  http://www.afm-montrouge.com/resultats-2016.htm

In addition to the well known Jupiter Miniatures,
A new old editor did resuscitate this time, with a couple of surprising flats = Detlev Belaschk !
He will expand and come to Sèvres in December.  You can see some of his new flats in the gallery.

I am progressivey loading the pics for the flats during this week here:
