 So I went to the Casemate page and found this information  Between 1940-1945  The Diamond T Motor Car Company supplied just over 50.000 Vehicles to the US Military and also the Allies  Off this just over 30,000 were heavy 4 ton 6x6 of various types  They also made the famous halftrack 10,000 produced

 Hannibal yes I have a lot of Books the other half of the library trains and the Circus which my Brother has   I have been very lucky to have the life I have had. With a family that loved books and growing up in a show biz family. Some day I am going to write a book about it. I think the count is about 1200 books :o  Willie

 Well hope everybody had a great Christmas and a Happy new Year so lets start with Helion & Company  It looks like in spring 2022 there well be a new Wars and Soldiers in the Early Reign of Louis XIV Volume 6 the Italian States. 2.  The Ottoman Army in the Napoleonic Wars 1798-1815 . Charles X Wars Volume 1 and in the spring of 2022 Volume 2  Third is From The Atamcama  to the Andies  Battles of the Pacific Wars 1878-1883 this I think is going to be a one from prints to use to paint by since this period is right after the Franko German War 1870-1871  Willie

 Well tomorrow is my Birthday  ::) :o  and I well soon be getting my 5th book on Wars and Soldiers in the Reign of Louse the XIV  The Armies of Portugal 1618-1721 By Brno Mugal . His next book well be The Ottoman Army of the Napoleonic War 1789-1815 2022 Also last month I went to the Chicago Show and picked up a Certificate of Merit for a War Elephant. Next I picked up a nice book at the show The Army in India a photographic record 1850-1914 by the National Army Museum. Then I was at the used book store and I found two nice  Books Georg Von Trapp To the Last Salute memories of An Austrian U-Boat Commander  does the name ring a bell :o  The Complete Encyclopedia of Battleships  A technical directory of Capital  Ships from 1860 to present day. by Tony Gibbons 1993 Crescent Pub ,lots of color profiles . Well Wars and Soldiers in the Early Reign of Louis XIV  Vol #4  came today and very well done lots of information :o  The Armies of Spain 1659-1688.  You can go on the Helion & Company web page and look under The Century of the Soldier Series No 76  Willie  8)

 Well here we are in October  :o  There's not much to report on  ???  Most of my orders are Preorder  I Well be getting The Wars and Soldiers in the Reign of     Louis XV volume 4  about the 18th of this month The 5th volume well come out about Feb 22 . Soldiers and Buccaneers of the Sun King 1643-1715 about 2022 Helion & Company.  From Osprey MAA #541 The Armies of the War of Grand Alliance oct 28  :-\  So that is it for 2021  Willie

Well my Armies of Julius Caesar came today and I like it a lot. There is one color plate B2 of  a Celtic Auxiliary Cavalryman Britannia 54 BC . What makes this guy so interesting is his Helmet I have never seen this kind :o  They state that it was found in West Sussex  and on page 45 they have a reconstruction of it in the Novium Museum Chichester  I think it would make a neat figurer  Willie

 I forgot these two books  ???  Uniforms of the US Navy 1776-1967 adopted from the United States Navy History Division Series  By Captain James Tily and art by H.Charles  McBaorron  these are prints  taken from the Company of Military Historians . The Second is The American Soldier this series was done in the late 60s By The United States Army Center of Military History Illustrations By H. Charles McBarron  They are nice books to have since you cant get these series from the Army any more :-[  Willie
