If ... one should talk about "classics" it would be appropriate to refer to them as "Gottsteins figures".

Hi John.

The Krog elephants are classics but, now quite hard to find as he has passed and his family closed the business.  However, rumor has it many of the moulds were sold and they may again be available.  I do see some of them on E Bay once in a while.

As far as selling I would suggest placing some pictures on the Sale/Trade/Wants section of this site and seeing if you have any takers.  Napoleonics are always popular but, we all have more figures than we can finish.  Lovely problem of the hobby.

Good luck on both your problems.

I'm a past member of the BFFS. Reading the new site it appears that there have been some changes in the world of flats.

Where would I be able to get some of the war elephants superbly engraved by Ludwig Frank? I believe Paul Krog used to sell them.

I'm particularily interested in the one painted  by Mr. DiFranco.

I also have a large selection of flats ( mostly Napoleonic)that I know I will not have time to paint so would like to sell them here on the site. How do I do that?
Thanks for your help.

John
